Program:  Dr. Michelle D. Stokely (Indiana University-Northwest) will give a program on Native-American bead work.

Celebrate Native American Heritage month with a presentation on Native American bead work. Dr Michelle Stokely, professor of Anthropology and American Indian Studies at Indiana University Northwest, will discuss the origins and historical uses of bead work, presenting examples from various regions. Dr Stokely will also discuss contemporary uses and will demonstrate beading techniques for anyone interested in attending bead working classes.
