Greetings!
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. I’m going to make this short. KVHS had a general meeting December 8th at the Kouts Fire Station. Dr. Mark Schurr drove out from South Bend and gave a very informative talk about archaeology and his plans for the investigation of the Collier Lodge site. I want to thank Mark for his very interesting presentation. I want to also thank Jim Lambert and the Landfadt family for allowing us to use some of their artifacts for the demonstration. The Post-Tribune and The Times sent out reporters and I’m going to include the stories published in their respective papers. We also picked up some new members! I want to welcome Dr. Ray Anderson, Ms. Pauline Ahlgrim and Mr. John Lamonica. Welcome aboard!!
I’m going to include a membership application with this message. I think everyone is well aware how important our membership is. If your membership has lapsed, please send in you dues. If you have not yet joined KVHS, please consider it and sign up.
